Green Share Nishi Ogikubo First Event!! - share house in Japan, Tokyo. [interwhao]

Hello, this is Ichikawa from Interwhao.

We held our first house event at Green Share Nishi Ogikubo on April 19!

As this was our first house event, we invited a photographer to come and film the event.

We will be posting the videos and photos on our website and social networking sites later!

The event consisted of two parts: the first half was a game event, and the second half was a sushi roll event.

Since we had just opened, we started with a game event that served as an ice-breaker!

The game event consisted of a  〇 and  ✕ game about the house and its staff, a line-up game in which participants lined up according to a theme without speaking, a Japanese-English telephone game, and a gesture game in which teams of two played against each other.

In the 〇 and ✕ game, teams share their opinions and come up with a single answer.

The teams were asked to tell each other the number of showers and toilets on their respective floors and work together to find the correct answer.

The alignment game challenged participants with various subjects such as birthdays and ages.

Since conversation was not allowed, the participants lined up by making eye contact with each other and claiming their positions.

The lineup was completed smoothly, and the game ended in a tie, with both teams succeeding in answering all questions.

For the telephone game, we prepared a Japanese theme and an English theme.

Perhaps because we made the questions a little difficult, each team could not succeed in answering even one question,

However, I was so happy to see the they trying their best to convey their messages in Japanese.

The gesture game is a close race!

Participants competed to see how many questions they could answer within the five-minute time limit.

The tension was completely released, and the teams did their best to express themselves.

Both teams answered nearly 30 questions in 5 minutes, and both teams had a great time.

The winning team was presented with a Ramune!

The game event was a great success from start to finish, and the staff was relieved.

The game event is over and the sushi making begins!

We will ask everyone to help with the preparation.

We have prepared a wide variety of ingredients such as tuna, salmon, cucumber, avocado, tuna mayo, natto, shiso leaves, etc.

We have prepared a variety of options for you to enjoy.

We also tried our hand at long sushi rolls!

The sushi rolls were over 1 meter long!

Thanks to everyone’s cooperation, preparations went smoothly!

So, with drinks in hand, let’s have a drink!

Each participant brought the sushi he or she had made, and as they ate it, they said to each other, “This is the best sushi I have ever tasted! and “This is the best sushi I’ve ever tasted!

The atmosphere was friendly and lively.

Through food, the participants got to know each other better, and many new exchanges were born.

After lunch, everyone enjoyed playing card games, Jenga, and other games of their own free time.

We hope to continue to provide such opportunities for social interaction to improve the quality of life at the House.
