Hello everyone!
This is Kiyoshi from the Interwhao staff
Once December arrives, the whole town instantly turns into Christmas mode—sparkling lights everywhere, festive decorations, and of course… Mariah Carey’s Christmas songs playing non-stop (you know what I mean ).
To celebrate this special time of year, we at Interwhao held our annual Christmas Party at First House Mizonokuchi B, and today I’d love to share some highlights with you!
A Joint Party with Two Houses!
This year’s party was a joint event with two Mizonokuchi houses, so we had a great turnout with lots of residents joining the fun!
Let’s take a look
Party Prep Time!
First up—decorations!
We gave the Christmas tree one final check…
✓ No problems at all! (So we were told )
Meanwhile, the kitchen team was hard at work.
When you think of Christmas, you think of roast chicken, right?
Just look at the size of it—impressive!
And in that huge bowl? A classic Christmas drink: eggnog
We added a splash of brandy, so the cooking team was already feeling pretty merry after taste-testing (lol).
Let the Feast Begin!
With plenty of dishes prepared, the big table was soon overflowing with delicious food .
Once everything was ready, it was time to raise our glasses…
Cheers!!
Everyone enjoyed eating, chatting, and laughing together—it was such a warm and lively atmosphere.
Christmas Costumes & Multicultural Fun
Many residents came dressed in Christmas-themed outfits, which made the party even more fun!
One of our Mexican residents showed up wearing a Christmas-style Lucha Libre mask—inspired by Mexico’s famous pro wrestling culture.
Such a unique and multicultural touch!
(And yes… he was easily lifted into the air )
We also had some absolutely adorable Christmas dresses—so festive and cute!
Handmade Decorations & Sweets
The beautiful wall decorations were actually handmade by residents who started preparing them days in advance. Amazing work!
We also tried decorating Christmas cookies, though it turned out to be harder than expected…
And one resident even baked a homemade cake for everyone!
It was so good that it sold out instantly
Thank you so much!
The Grand Finale: Karaoke Time!
The party stayed lively from start to finish, and everyone had a great time laughing, eating, and connecting with one another.
To wrap things up, we turned on home karaoke and sang Christmas songs at full volume
What a perfect ending!
Thank You & See You Soon!
Looking back on the year, we hosted many events, and so many residents joined and helped out each time.
Everyone participates with such enthusiasm and truly enjoys the events, which makes hosting them incredibly rewarding for me.
I’m really grateful to all of you—thank you so much!
