Welcome Party at Green Share Nishi-Ogikubo! - share house in Japan, Tokyo. [interwhao]

Hello everyone!
This is Aki from Interwhao!

As the days grow warmer and summer slowly begins to make its presence felt, Green Share Nishi-Ogikubo has been buzzing with new energy…

From March to April, we welcomed many new residents  into our house, and our living room and kitchen have become livelier than ever °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°

To help everyone get to know each other better and make share house life even more enjoyable, we decided to hold a Welcome Party!!!!

Our goal was simple —
to create a place where even people meeting for the first time could relax, enjoy delicious food, and share smiles and good memories together.

To make this happen, our staff spent more than a month preparing for the event!

This time, the theme of the event was:

International Exchange Through Food
Bring delicious food or snacks from your home country!

And we staff prepared Temaki Sushi (hand-rolled sushi)

Soon enough, residents also started gathering in the kitchen to prepare their own dishes!

Little by little, the tables became more colorful and exciting

As the scheduled start time approached…

…No one came down on time!!!!

But after a few minutes, one person… then another… slowly made their way into the living room…

And finally—

We were able to raise our glasses together with more than 25 people!

Some residents were trying hand-rolled sushi for the very first time, and it was wonderful seeing everyone enjoy making and eating it together

Now then… what kinds of food did everyone bring?

！！！！！！！！

To our surprise…

Someone actually brought professionally prepared sushi Σ(・□・；)

A rich man, perhaps…?

Next up…
we had Chicken Rice from Singapore!

Honestly, it tasted exactly like the chicken rice I had during a stopover at Singapore airport!

There was also pizza, salami, delicious olives…

And of course, no international party is complete without drinks

Residents brought plenty of wine and other beverages to share!

Just when everyone was starting to feel full…

Beautiful desserts appeared from our German and French residents

Everything — from the meals to the desserts — was absolutely delicious!

And more than anything, everyone looked so happy.

Seeing everyone laughing, talking, and enjoying the moment together honestly made all the preparation worthwhile.

To be honest, I am only joined the company this February and am still quite new…
but I may be the one enjoying these events the most!

Lastly—

Thanks to everyone’s cooperation and participation, this event became something truly special.

Watching residents naturally mingle, share drinks and food, and create new friendships and smiles reminded us exactly why events like this matter.

We could strongly feel the value and meaning of bringing people together through experiences like this.

And don’t worry…

We’re already planning the next fun community event, so stay tuned!
