Hello everyone!
It’s Kiyoshi from Interwhao!!
I’ve been popping up here and there lately!
This time, we held our first event in a while at First House Omori, and I’d love to share how it went with all of you.
**The theme of this event was…
“Beaujolais Nouveau”!**
So what exactly is Beaujolais Nouveau?
“Beaujolais” refers to a wine region in the Burgundy area of France, and the light, fruity red wines made there. “Beaujolais Nouveau” is a fresh, young wine made from newly harvested Gamay grapes, released worldwide every year on the third Thursday of November. (Thank you, internet!)
In short—it’s an event where we get to drink tasty wine! (lol)
Since it had been quite a while since we last held an event at First House Omori, we thought this unique occasion was the perfect excuse to do something fun.
Alright, let’s take a look at what happened!
First up—the wines!
Because Interwhao houses people from so many different countries, we prepared wines from all around the world.
Truly international vibes!
Once everyone gathered… Kanpai! Cheers!
We also prepared some light snacks that pair perfectly with wine.
While enjoying wine and snacks, everyone chatted, relaxed, and had a great time.
Since the event was held during the day, the atmosphere was extra calm and elegant. (Honestly… I kinda loved it.)
Some residents even did wine comparisons—
starting with the aroma… though I do wonder if they actually knew what they were smelling (lol)
Another resident even cooked pasta on the spot!
It was delicious!
Someone also brought their homemade plum wine.
It might have been the best thing I tasted that day…
Everyone enjoyed their food while mingling and getting to know each other.
We had participants from many different countries, creating a wonderful, multicultural atmosphere.
Through the theme of wine, people exchanged stories about customs and cultures from around the world—it was really special.
We received lots of positive feedback from the residents too, so even though this was a new type of event, we’re really glad we did it.

The size of all rooms are about 10㎡ with good sunshine!! Shower rooms and bathrooms are separated in men and women. And the entrance is electric auto-locked so the security is good!! Since it is close to the station, it is convenient to go for shopping at a supermarket, convenience stores, book stores, drug stores, cafes, and so on.
