Hey everyone!
It’s Kiyoshi from Interwhao!
Not long ago, we had an awesome fireworks event at First House Mizonokuchi, and guess what — I’m back again with another report!
This time, it’s October, and you know what that means… HALLOWEEN!!
We threw a fun Halloween party together with everyone from Mizonokuchi A and B, and I’m super excited to share how it went!

The event took place at First House Mizonokuchi A.
Actually, since late September, a few residents had already been asking (more like pressuring lol), “We’re doing Halloween again this year, right?!”
Of course we are! There’s no way Interwhao staff would miss out on one of the biggest events of the year!
Alright, let’s jump right into it — the event begins!!
Usually, at our events, residents take the lead on cooking and bring all kinds of great dishes.
But this time, since it’s Halloween, everyone focused on their costumes instead!
So, to show our appreciation, we staff prepared some light snacks for everyone to enjoy.
Before long, a big crowd had gathered, and we kicked things off with a toast!

Now, let’s check out everyone’s amazing costumes!!

First up — a serial killer and a taiyaki (fish-shaped pastry)?
Yeah, we don’t get it either

Next, we had Flynn Rider from Disney’s Tangled, and… an NHK collector coming to collect TV fees! (That one was my personal favorite.)

He even came to bill me later… (´;ω;`)

Then we’ve got a little devil — finally something that actually looks like Halloween!

Here, one of the guys is getting his finishing makeup touches from one of the girls.
What could he be turning into…?

Everyone was chatting, eating, laughing — just enjoying the night together.

And here we’ve got an angel and a devil whispering to a fallen Mario.
What’s his fate going to be?!

Next up, Kiki the witch and Saiki Kusuo!
So cute together!

And they’re still at it — everyone’s costumes were super detailed, seriously professional-level stuff.

The ladies especially went all-out this year — so many gorgeous and creative outfits!
The guys… let’s step it up next year, yeah?

And finally… Sailor Moon!
Well, sort of… maybe a slightly scary version
The effort was 100% though — amazing job!
If this Sailor Moon decided to “punish” someone in the name of the moon, I think it’d really hurt one!
The whole event was filled with laughter from start to finish — such an amazing time together.

Everyone really showed their own creativity and personality through their costumes.
That’s what makes Interwhao’s international community so special — everyone can be themselves, and everyone’s accepted for who they are.
Our residents are just awesome people
In the end, more than 30 people joined, making it a huge success!
Thank you so much to everyone who came and made it such a great night!
And of course, we wrapped it up with a big group photo!
