March 30, 2018

Hi, everyone!!

We went to view wonderful cherry blossoms along the river close to Firsthouse Mizonokuchi +a, +b.

“Sakae-Hashi”

Now is the time for cherry trees in full bloom. (^^)

Beautiful are weeping cherry trees on either side!!

We feel relaxed, looking at a flower leaf fluttering down and floating down the stream.

The riverside goes a few kilometers, and at some points of the road, you can go down to the waterfront.

It will be fun looking up the flowers from there.

The trees had small flower leaves but with much volume like popcorn!!

Why don’t you take a walk around this area☆

Hello, everyone☆

The life is really comfortable these days, nice weather with good sunshine. The cherry trees are in 80 percent full bloom, so the best time for viewing them will be this week or next week(^^)

In front of the entrance of Firsthouse Ichigao, there is a small flower garden. This time, we made it changed spring-like!!!

Before-pictures are these.

The process is like this …

Today it was a pretty warm weather, wasn’t it!?(^^;

Ta-da!!

Ready for planting!!

Turning the soil, spreading fertilizers, and then we went to get some flowers!!!

From here, I am required to display them as beautifully as possible!!

After-picture

Buying some items that surround the flowers, the garden became closer to spring!!( ・▽・)

I look forward to these flowers growing!!

In our properties, some “gimmicks” like this can be found.

We put our energy not only into events or parties, but also into interior or exterior decoration!!!

Hello, everyone!

Although some of you already know this info., there is a western-food restaurant 3 minutes away from Firsthouse Mizonokuchi+a toward Mizonokuchi Station.

This is the building exterior.

Many dishes on the outside menu board…

Thinking about what I should take… I did find a lunch set with much volume that will probably make everyone surprised!!!

“Today’s lunch set”

・Fried chicken & cutlet of pork fillet

・Rice

・Japanese hackberry & seaweed miso-soup

・Salad

・Potato salad

・Japanese hackberry & vegetable tempura

And a cup of coffee comes after these dishes!!

Though I ate this much, it cost only 750 yen!!

A level of satisfaction is 5 stars out of 5, reminding me of my parents’ house or meals cooked by my mother.

There are other dishes, too, that looked delicious.

When you feel like eating until your stomach is full, please visit here!!

※Contact the restaurant itself about the details of dishes or prices.

March 5, 2018

This time, some residents at Firsthouse Mizonokuchi +a gathered around and held a let’s-eat-dinner-together party.

In English, what is called a potluck party. I had spoken to them like, “You can bring whatever to eat or drink”. Some cooked a meal by themselves and others just bought food at the nearest supermarket “Maruetsu”.

Before starting, multi-national dishes went all over the table!!

Pasta, Satechichen, Tandorichiken, pizza, Namul, Tacos, Canape, Baked Sweet Potato, Gyoza, Original Indian Food, and so on. Looks all delicious!!!

Because all of us were hungry, time for cheers!!

According to my personal request, a resident from Kansai (Western part of Japan) kindly cooked authentic Kansai-area Takoyaki (octopus dumplings).

Everyone devoured the dishes. People who joined late brought wine or something like that!!!

Usually on Sundays, most of the residents here just chill out, or relax, considering the next day they work. But Sunday like this was awesome, too!!

The next thing coming up is 2-year anniversary for Firsthouse Mizonokuchi+a!! Can’t wait!!!!

February 5, 2018

It was a traditional Setsubun day on Feb. 3rd, which made me decide to make an “Ehomaki (Sushi roll traditionally eaten at Setsubun night, believed it bringing good luck)” with residents at Firsthouse Mizonokuchi+a. Taking a lecture from a resident who used to be working in a sushi-restaurant…

we got started with cooking vinegar-seasoning rice.

Looked like everyone was interested in the very first experience.

簀巻きでまきまき・・・

Rolling by a bamboo-made tool…

上手くできているかドキドキの瞬間!

It is a moment everyone was nervous, wondering if we did it or no.

We did it ★ What a beautyyyyyyy!!!!!

Now what we need is turning to the right direction (traditionally, facing silently toward the year’s lucky direction), wishing your dream, and eating and eating silently.

It was kind of weird and fun everyone followed the tradition and kept eating sushi silently… lol

In the middle, some couldn’t resist the silence, so they started laughing or gesturing like, “Give me water, I am full, or is it OK to speak something???”. Struggling with these, we ate them up!!

Do you wonder what I wished?? Good luck to the residents at Firsthouse Mizonokuchi this year, too!!

January 24, 2018

On January 22nd, it snowed heavily all over Kanto-Area (including Tokyo, Yokohama).

On an unusual day like this, public transportation doesn’t work as scheduled, so residents came back home earlier than usual and many of them were cooking a one-pot meal against the coldness.

Looks like the very first snow this year and coming back home early made them happy and the living room was merry, although it was on Monday.

A resident cooking at the kitchen spoke to me with excitement, asking, “Did you look at the entrance!??”

I thought something terrible happened, approaching the entrance of the building…

There is a guy like this (*´ω`*).

Seems like three or four of the residents made him. Almost came off, but there were eyebrows made by seaweed. lol

Actually, it is bigger than you can see in this photo. A lonely-looking face seems to tell us something.

At my own judgement, I designated him as an official mascot for Firsthouse Mizonokuchi+a (Winter season only).

January 13, 2018

Look at this starry sky!! (i-phone camera makes this blurry, though)

In winter, the air is so clear we can see beautiful stars, but it’s cold outside, actually freezing-cold these days.

On the day like this, one of our residents bought a planetarium online and kindly played it in our living room, First house Mizonokuchi+a (with healing background music).

Everyone got excited, looking at the stars reflected on the ceiling!!

So beautiful that I can keep watching them forever… actually making me sleepy…lol

Seems like the resident bought it as a tool for a sound sleep. Actually some of the residents seemed to fall into a sleep. lol

Absolutely, it was a good, gorgeous night…★☆★

January 7, 2018

Happy new year everyone!

We started to operate from January 4th. And we’ve been busy to reply to the inquiries and to go check our sharehouses.

●January to March is the busiest season throughout the year

Generally speaking, January to March is the busiest season. Many people in Japan start a new life from April and prepare for new job and new school. According to it, they start to look for a new place to live and they move to another place actually.

Therefore, they compete to take a room. In January, not only sharehouse companies but also other real estate agency has some vacant rooms (will be vacant rooms as well).

If you find a property which you are interested in, you should inquiry as soon as possible, and check the availability, the atmosphere, and so on.

In March, it is possible to see unsold rooms if I express in a bad sense. Of course, unsold rooms are not always bad according to the proverb “there is a fortune to surplus”. But  you should act quicker to see many kinds of rooms.

●We Interwhao have sharehouses & apartment not only in Kanagawa but also Tokyo, Chiba, & Saitama prefecture

Our office is in Yokohama city, so our sharehouses and apartments locate mainly in Yokohama and Kawasaki city.

As you may know, almost all properties are good access to the cities of Tokyo.

To live in Tokyo tells us to pay more expensive rent. If you are worried about it, you should check our sharehouses in Kanagawa, Chiba, and Saitama prefecture which are easy access to main parts of Tokyo such as Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Tokyo, and Ueno.

●But I would rather live in Tokyo!!

Generally speaking, living in sharehouse enable us to move in with cheaper initial costs than living in normal apartments (there is no deposit, guarantor, key money, or other fees in most of sharehouse companies). Also, most sharehouses provide furniture and consumer electronics in the house. So the total fee is much cheaper to live in sharehouses.

Depending on room sizes and the distance from the station, the rent varies. But the average rent of our properties in Tokyo is 60,000~70,000 yen including utilities fee.

Currently, the sharehouses below are recommended.

Firsthouse Oomori

Only 7 min walk to Oomori station in JR Keihin Tohoku Line, Oota-Ward, Tokyo.

A train goes to Shinagawa, Shinbashi, Tokyo, Yokohama, and Kawasaki without changing a train.

Rooms and common spaces have been renovated  last December.

8㎡: 60,000 yen/ 10 ㎡:64,500 yen.

There are supermarket, drug store, and discount store within 10 min walk from the house. So there is no worry about shopping.

Ma Maison Gakugeidaigaku

Only 7 min walk from Gakugeidaigaku station in Tokyu Toyoko Line, Meguro-Ward, Tokyo. Women only sharehouse.

A train goes to Shibuya and Yokohama directly.

The characteristic of this sharehouse is that there is a small kitchen in each room.

So the residents share only bathroom, shower, and washing machine.

The current vacant rooms are 現在の空室は、

10㎡:67,500 yen/ 12㎡:70,500

Meguro-Ward is one of the richest areas in Tokyo so it would be cheaper to live with this rent.

Also, we offer the special campaign for this sharehouse, “New Year Special Offer for Women Only

So if you think staying longer, you can apply for this campaign.

Firsthouse Tobu Nerima

Only about 5 min walk from Tobu Nerima station in Tobu Tojo Line, Nerima-Ward, Tokyo.

15 min for Ikebukuro station without changing a train.

Also, you can use Tokyo Metro line at “Chikatetsu Akatsuka station” which is about 10 min walk from this sharehouse.

You can go to Shibuya directly as well by this train.

10㎡:46,500 yen

The characteristic of this sharehouse is also that there is a small kitchen in each room.

●Conclusion

Our concept is that “We do what we can do.” We don’t often ask the technicians and the professionals to renovate the house.

By doing so, we can cut the cost and provide a cheaper rent with low price and high quality at the same time.

Some sharehouses have gorgeous installments in the house such as billiard, soundproof room for music, fitness room, and so on but the rent is much higher.

Some people think “I wanna live there because there is …” But later on, “I’ll move out because I can’t pay this rent anymore”

Also, “I started to live here because I wanted to use it. But since everyone uses it, I can’t use it much”

We are making an effort to provide the basic level of lifestyle with reasonable rent, not unsatisfied living environment.

If you start to look for sharehouses, please ask yourself “What do I really need?”
