St.Patrick's Party(Fujigaoka)

March 17, 2012 We had a St. Patrick’s Day Party at First house Fujigaoka.
What is “St. Patrick”? A lot of Japanese are unfamiliar with the celebration, but anyway, let’s party!
Here we go!

What is St. Patrick's Day? The Irish holiday. It is the anniversary of Saint Patrick's death and they commemorates him who spread the Christianity in Ireland.
The way they celebrate is make everything green, the colour of national flower, shamrock (clover).
So, "GREEN"! They eat or drink something green for good luck.
BYOB(=Bring Your Own Bottle) "Bring a dish, please" Here are international dishes. …? No green?
"This is the day just to drink alcohol with friends, and have fun!" So, let's get started!
"Try my mapo doufu!" For some foreigners, mapo doufu looks Japanese cuisine.
Very nice couple. Let's ask them to try a new item in Fujigaoka guesthouse!
"The Rodeo Boy Ⅱ"!! Resident A: "…why now?" Staff: "Never mind. They will never know it's an out-of-time exercise machine"
You see. She loves it!
Riding without holding a handle!
Everybody eat more! We have plenty of food.

"Still riding?" Do you like Rodeo Boy? Here we have new tenant, item, and regular exercise in Fujigaoka guesthouse! St. Patrick's Day Party was unfamilier in Japan, but we were all happy to have a good party. Enjoyed food from many countries, of tenants favorites! The house coordinator made Japanese soul food (The Okonomiyaki!) It was so popular among everybody that it was gone very quickly. The taste of Okonomiyaki is universal.. We welcome your attendance to our next praty. Other than Fujigaoka, we have 'Sangenjaya', 'Miyamaedaira', 'Ichigao', 'Fujigaoka', 'Jiyugaoka' and more. We look forward to having you to our rooms.
