A wonderful moment & spot for cherry blossom viewing at Gumyoji

Hello, from Tokaichiba Station!

 

It’s a really good weather today, so I went to Gumyoji Station for cherry blossom viewing with residents living in First House Yokohama Aoba. There is a share house near Gumyoji Station, within 5 minutes’ walk, named, “First House Gumyoji“. This is another share house that I am currently managing. Whenever going to Gumyoji for cleaning or inspection, I have been feeling this spot is really gorgeous.

So, today I took my friends from the share house to that spot at Gumyoji on a sunny, warm holiday.

 

 

Location of Gumyoji is really good, just 8 minutes from Yokohama Station.

First House Gumyoji is a share house I recommend to people who work around Y0kohama Station or in the area of Yokosuka.

 

As soon as we arrived, we found “sakura” meaning, cherry blossom.

I just found a single, arch-shaped branch of cherry blossom on the road! (Picture: above)

No, no way. Passing through Gumyoji shopping arcade, O-oka River showing up, then…

Full cherry blossom along the river!!

Everybody didn’t expect that the flower was this full, taking pictures again and again!

There were food stands lining up, too, which made us high!

The O-oka River street is one of the most popular spots for cherry blossom viewing in Kanagawa Prefecture.

I am glad thta my friends from overseas enjoyed it a lot.

There are only a few vacant rooms in First House Gumyoji, where you can enjoy cherry blossom viewing.

We went to okonomiyaki restaurant for lunch.

Okonomiyaki: a new experience for these guys from the Philippines and Indonesia.

I learned that this type of food is common in any countries and amazed that they turned over okonomiyaki really well!!

    Firsthouse Haneda Otorii is close to the entrance to the world which is Haneda Intenational Terminal station with 4 min for 3 stops. Also, you can come to the house without waiting for the traffic light with only 3 min walk. 14 min for Shinagawa station, and 28 min for Higashi Ginza station.

    Firsthouse Omori is only 8 min walk from Omori station in JR Keihin Tohoku Line where it is 2 next stops from Shinagawa station. You can go to Yokohama station by train for 18 min. Therefore, it’s very easy to go not only to Tokyo direction but to Yokohama area!Supermarkets, convenience stores, and drug store are very close to the sharehouse so this environment must be convenient compared to other areas in Omori.  Common spaces and some rooms have been renovated in 2017, so you may really like this sharehouse!

    The size of all rooms are about 10㎡ with good sunshine!! Shower rooms and bathrooms are separated in men and women. And the entrance is electric auto-locked so the security is good!! Since it is close to the station, it is convenient to go for shopping at a supermarket, convenience stores, book stores, drug stores, cafes, and so on.
