Hello, I want this humid rainy season to pass quickly…

I want to hang my clothes outside for dry! It’s me, Sugawara, a new Interwhao staff!

Since I seek the stimulation and communication with many more people, I moved to a sharehouse and started share-life.

Originally, I love talking with people and became interested in sharehouse. And 1 month has passed since I moved in here and became friends with housemates.

Now I felt that I was one of the residents finally.

And I felt that it was good to live in a sharehouse to spend on a great time with many kinds of people who are different in their ages, sex, nationalities, and backgrounds.

I sometimes cook together in the kitchen and talk about things happening today, etc, and sometimes go out for shopping together.

I truly think that this is sharehouse life through these activities.

The sharehouse I live in is “Firsthouse Fujigaoka” which is 7 min walk from Fujigaoka station along Tokyu Dennentoshi Line where it goes to Shibuya for about 25 min from Fujigaoka station.

If you go to the other way, you can take JR Yokohama line at Nagatsuta station where 3 stops from Fujigaoka station. So it is a good access to Tokyo direction and Yokohama direction.

Furthermore, the house is in a quiet residential area so the condition is perfect for me.

Again, only 1 month has passed since I moved in. I heard that some parties will take place at this sharehouse, so I will get used to this sharehouse and become friends with more residents. And above all, I want to enjoy the life here!!

I will try to upload the information, so I will be happy if you check here.

First day of my moving in. (There are air conditioner, refrigerator, and furniture!)

Looks more room-like!

My first night meal!

Hello, everyone.

I’m Nagata who is the worst at English in Interwhao, and it is time to introduce my favorite phrase in English.

Make sense

This is one of the most convenient phrases for me.

It is like, “Ok” or “I understand” or something like this. (Am I correct?)

I like this phrase because it sounds like casual.

<Example>

  1. When I noticed that people who pass each other look at me so much because somebody drew on my face, “oh that makes sense!”

  1. When I saw one of my friends who wants to lose weight is eating donuts, “that doesn’t make sense.”

One of residents of Firsthouse Ichigao keeps saying this phrase, so I wanted to use this because it is cool.

I was wondering how he is doing after going back to US.

He uploads some picture with always different ladies…

That’s all for my favorite phrase.

Hello everyone. The weather is freaking hot…

I’m Nagata, who is famous as being worst at English in Interwhao, and I will introduce my favorite English phrase.

“definitely”

This is one of the most convenient phrases I know.

It is like “Of course”

The nuance is to accept that somebody asks.

<Example>

○When a friend who study Japanese asks me to check his homework,

“Yeah, definitely!”

○When you get a phone that “It’s me! Please transfer 20,000 dollars to my bank account”,
“Yeah, definitely!”

○When your girlfriend told me to break up because she loves another person”,
“Yeah, definitely!”

If I’m told “definitely”, I guess I feel good.

But for me, the pronunciation is difficult. “d,d,d,d, defi….”
Oh well, cut both ways.

That’s all for my favorite phrase.

In May, the managers have been assigned to different areas.

I used to go around Oota-ward in Tokyo but now I manage the sharehouses in Yokohama.

Interestingly, the areas that I used to go and will go to are full of green.

My family home is near Nakayama and Aobadai, and I used to Gumyouji in Yokohama.

I will make an effort to report the environment and the real sharehouse.

Anyway, I will write about the atmosphere of Firsthouse Yokohama Aoba.

Great things @ Firsthouse Yokohama Aoba

1.Lively lounge of common space

I watch TV with drinking and eating in the lounge almost everyday. There was only 1 or 2 persons at first. But, more and more residents come here, and eat and drink together. This is a normal weekdays, Wednesday night.

Everyone lives in this sharehouse, so they don’t have to worry about drinking too much or the last train.

Beers are accumulated by themselves…

2.Everyone playing pool seriously

There is a billiard table at this sharehouse! Usually, those who are drinking play it at night. This picture was taken around at noon so it looks calm, but it will be harder and more serious at night. The interesting thing is that we play tournaments by separating countries such as Japanese team vs Indonesian team.

We are country representative! In my opinion, foreigners are good at playing pool.

3.Fantastic art on blackboard

The whole wall is blackboard. Recently, residents are free to decorate it such as Pikachu of Pokemon, Draemon, and some characters of anime.

I will upload the changes of blackboard later.

Wow, I will stop buying cheap chalk…

I’ll stop here now. There are so much things that I can’t explain in words. If you are interested in this “Firsthouse Yokohama Aoba, please come and view the real Firsthouse Yokohama Aoba!
